I don't know how you're gonna be able to seed cause the Demonoid tracker went down when the site did....

I just checked a torrent I put up a few days ago and I got a "connection refused........." from the tracker and my arrow went red in ”Torrent

OK.. here we go..

Official word from the irc channel..

A drive on the server went down and they are working to restore everything.
They think 3 days or so before normal service is resumed. On that reckoning then they will be back on 29/30 - 9

Yeah.. it's looking good. I'm a long time member and have donated time and cash before. Nobody has come begging to me for cash to move any servers or whatever. I wouldn't respond if they did. It's easy to spoof a site to a domain where the server is down. Unfortunately that screenshot above is too small to show the actual url in the address bar.. :s

Don't give anybody any money until they are back online and it's business as usual. Anything else is probably just a con.

I'm glad I finally found a board thats talking about this, every other search result for "demonoid down" was old. I thought it was verison wireless trying to *bleep* with its users, so i guess thats not the case. Hope its back soon. I hate just about every other torrent site.

Blackcats seems to have been having technical problems for several days, so I'm inclined to think that it's overhauling its drives. No idea about TVTorrents.

Blackcats is up now. There is a message on their board that says the site was down for about 5 hours for maintenance.

Unless the site owners have been providing files themselves everything will be fine. The Canadian Govt. is quite insistent that file sharing sites which DO NOT actually host any files are doing nothing wrong, and will not be pursued/taken down/hassled/threatened or whatever.
I wish more rich and large countries had the guts to stand up to the USA based media industries in this way. It might stop Bush and his cronies thinking they own the world.

I'm hoping our little green demon is back soon.. tomorrow or sunday, but I understand quite a lot about servers and it will take as long as it takes sometimes... I have some copyright (riaa cartel free anyways) free unsigned talent that wants some publicity, plus some very old bootlegs that were promised weeks ago.

I so hope its not the end for DEMONOID, I have been a member for a few years now, and had only good things from the site. There is no other sites like it. I have tried others, only to get duff downloads and/or viruses etc. The site caters for experienced aswell as newbies.

I want to see JAMGOOD & HOCKNEY again, and soon, as i`m gettting withdrawal symtems.

Fingers crossed everything will get sorted.

DEMONOID ROCKS!!!!!!!

Demonoid being down has nothing to do with the cria - it is purely hardware issues.

The trackers have now been up from early Saturday morning UK time

expect main site sometime within next 24/48 hours

Anyway, why not come to our temporary forums which was kindly set up by one of the moderators last year

Here you will learn the truth ..........
