I am trying to backup a 7.9 gb folder in a DVD-DL verbatim disc. I have tryed roxio, windows, deepburner, img burn, etc etc, AlL progams burn the disc until the end, some even say succes, but after reinserting the disc, the disc is not recognizable or readable at all in my pc or any other pc.
After wasting 10 DVD DL disc, I managed to finallay doing a backup with windows by zipping the folder in a winrar archive and draggin it to the burning folder, that simple.
The above worked fine, however, if instead of dragging 1 file, I drag 2 or more files, even at the same time, the burning process fails with a non readable disc at the end.
Any ideas?
I have windows vista,Double-Layer DVD+/-RW Optical Drive
I managed to burn the 7.9 folder with clone cd, without problem.
The one i did with windows, in my pc folder appeared with a red bar under the dvd icon, then suddenly, the disc become not readable. what does the red bar means?
Why I dont have any problems with clone cd, and at the same time, no other program works correctly? roxio, deep burn, image burn, xpburn, cheeeta etc
