Controlling a Ripped DVD vollume on the Iphone?

Does any one know how to control the level of volume a dvd will play at when ripped to the iphone?

Through the headphones my movies sound fine but what I really want to do is have decent volume through the main speaker. I ripped season 1 of Entourage and it sounds great coming out of the speakers but when i ripped scarface its barely audible. Anyone know how to control this?

I'm using Cucusoft Ipod Video Converter Suite if that helps.

You can try handbrake, you can adjust the volume before the ripping start.

in the output audio/video setting, adjust the volume from 100% to 300% or more.
