About two years ago, i recieved a claritone dvd player for cristmas. over time, the outputs started to not work. i took it back to radioshack for repairs (under warranty of course) i got it back and a few weeks later noticed the parental lock had been set. Either some repair guy is getting kicks out of setting the parental to movies appropriate for 14 years olds and under or i was given a refurbished dvd player. Regardless, there are 10000 possibilities so guessing is not an option and apparently there is nothing radioshack can do. someone please help! for now ill continue trying to guess... right now im at 0200.

So just take it back and demand that they fix it or have a look in the manual.

Take it back and demand they unlock it. If they refuse.......go buy a new one LOL their a hell of alot cheaper these days, and with doing that its a lot less stress.

Did you look on the net for some updated firmware or updated drivers? If you find some of those updates unistall your old and reinstall with new. Uninstalling might get rid of the locks. Reinstalling manully, you can prvent them. Hope I have helped
