Does anybody know how to update there R4 because when i update the my R4 it comes up saying some words which i can't understand but i know it doesn't work. does anybody have any suggustion for me?

if downloading the eniglish kernal from http://r4ds.com/index-en.htm does not work try the chiniese version. i know that sounds wiered but it['s worked for soome.

i just got my r4ds on monday, from dealextreme. i was wondering how to install the licks media player on to it. i have gotten it to work but not as well as i wood like it to. my screen looks like this rite now with the licks media player:

I read about this (IPOD DS) a while back, but I've never tried it. I was interested until I visited a forum (http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=11800&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=0175658a918158db136ba2e521045c7a) and noticed that it's no longer being developed. I read that the playback quality wasn't very good, so I didn't think it would be very useful. Maybe I'll give it a try just for the fun of it and let you know if I have the same problem (bottom screen being hard to see).
