Hey guys I'm really new into unlocking phones, I would really appreciate your help.

I typed in *#06# to get the serial no. which is 357671015227249

I read other threads that u need the IMEi not sure if it's the right thing or not

I currently use a Nokia 6030 registered to Vodafone Australia.

Sorry for the late reply because I just came back from holidays. I tried entering the code that you posted but it doesn't seem to work. I doubled checked the serial number I posted earlier and it's correct. I tried entering the password numerous time and it doesn't work, it still says it's restricted!

That IMEI looks like a 6300.
Please check that and do not enter any codes.

Yea I just checked the IMEI again and it's correct. It is a Vodafone prepaid phone and it's locked to Vodafone SIMS only. Is that true that some phones cannot be unlocked?

In your first post you said it was a 6030.
The IMEI looks like a 6300.
If it is a 6300 we can not do those and you must not try any codes.
The same goes for the NEW 6030.
Only Vodafone can give you a code for that. If you hard lock it with three wrong codes, you will need to have it unlocked with equipment.

As a matter of fact, your best option is Vodafone for ALL phones locked to Voda. We
If you take it to a shop, ask them if they can give you the Vodafone MNC. (Mobile Network Code )

If you go to the Vodafone Site and do it on line, it will cost less.
If you have not entered any codes yet!!!
