can any1 please tell me how i can speed up my Utorrent download speeds. They seem to be averaging about 10kb/s at the most!
My computer has handled 200kb/s before!
please help

Try this: at preferences>connection, uncheck UPNP and randomize port and then use any port over 10,000 that isn't the default. At preferences>bittorrent, enable both DHT options but only for public sites and enable Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674 (scroll down). If you use a router, find it at Port Forward.com and forward it and if you use a router, a static ip address may be necessary. Check this list for ISP's that may block: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs up to date but other ISP's do too. And at speed guide>connection type, enter the nearest figure to your upload speed, keep in mind most speed tests are in kb/s and utorrent is in kB/s. Run any speed test at various times over a few days to be sure and nothing to do with utorrent but look into using Peer Guardian 2 when downloading if you're not.
