Good Q! Diskjuggler used to be able to do multi burner for cdr, not sure if they have a DVD version.
If they did not want films copied they would not make it so easy!!!

Forget about that idea, you would need to have such a high spec for that to run a windows system and attempt to burn two or more DVD's at once.

Does Nero do that?
I'm not sure as I don't have two Writer in one PC.

Yes good question....
I know Recordnow has the option to use multiple recorders but I am only a pauper so only have one burner.....therefore have not tried it....or delved into the settings....
Look in tools/options/advanced.....the buffer size does not look very exciting.....
I also haven't heard of anyone else having a couple of burners or commented on that previously......
Still I have to agree with Oriphus.....but it maybe worth looking into.....got me intrigued now......
I would assume that it would be better to have the exact same model/firmware to have the best chance of success....

Hee Hee you gave me an itch to find out.....
Have not got another dvd burner, so I thought I would strip out my old cd burner from my other machine and have a play with Recordnow DX......
CDRW and DVROM combo LG
DVD+/- RW Pioneer 106...
I had to drop the burn speed down to 8x and increase the buffer size to max of 75Mb......to match up with the read rate of the reader......
But................it worked like a charm....
Just done 2 music cd's, 2 vcd's and 2 svcd's ALL on the fly all done in 18 mins....went through nice and smooth....2 CD burns in one hit....lovely....
Obviously the data rate is nothing compared to dvd's but the multiple recorder option works superbly.........something I have never tried before......
Had to bugger about with the music cd (pink's new album, multisession crap - black line method to remove the other session) in order to read it....
But nice success all round.....
I think with the DVD side of it, as Oriphus stated the specs will need to be pretty shit hot and I think a matched pair of burners would be the ideal setup to avoid the old coasterific scenario......
Had my fun for tonight.....man I am chuckling to myself........laters.....

for all those interested, recordnow max, Nero 6, and ECDC 6 all have the capability to do simultaneous burning. ECDC 6 seems like it chokes in the process though, frequently getting to 80 or 90% done, then spitting out the disc. can you say coaster? Nero and record now do a much better job, but I like Nero the best because of it's interface and ease of use.
