I can't get a R5 dvdrip to play in my dvd player

anyone know how i cant get a r5 dvdrip to play in my stand alone dvd player?.. all the dvdrips i've convert to .vob files and burned onto dvd's wont play in my playstation 2 or my dvd player..but any other kinds will....

any tricks to getting around this problem?

What are you using to convert them?
Are you in an NTSC region (US, Canada) or PAL (Europe etc)?

I use Winavi and i have the region set on "AUTO"

Ok - if you're in an NTSC region having it set to auto doesn't always work for playback on a player when the source file is in PAL format.
R5's are PAL so set the region to the one you're in - PAL or NTSC.
