"Why Do Some Firmwares Have A number After It? e.g. 3.52 M33-4

The Number After The Firmware (In This Case 4) Is The Number Of The Update. Think About It Like Windows XP & The Service Packs (XP SP2). "

Can you make it like patches in the firmware? :]

Question...

How would I downgrade from 1.52(yes, 1.52 not 1.53)without using Pandora's Battery?I'm going to flash my PSP from 1.50-2.00 just to make my history more longer :P

NVM, I found out the answer.

Go into recovery mode and make sure that you have the UMD driver set to UMD Required and have a UMD in the PSP when trying to play.

If still no luck go back into recovery mode and change kernel and try again.

Okay, forgive me if it was already covered but I'm lost. I want to be able to use cwcheat on my psp but don't have a clue where to start.
I have the slim version PSP with Firmware 3.72. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it.
