It's the proper slot-1 card from the M3 team (as the Simply is just a rebranded R4 it dosn't count) The M3 team have been working on it for a while.

It is basically the same as the G6 DS Real (also made by the M3 team) however it uses MicroSD cards for storage whereas the G6 has inbuilt memory.

Wrong,

I'm not talking about m3 simply, I'm talking about m3 ds real. I know all about m3 simply already. Go to m3 adapter.com and look.

Yeah, that's what I was refering to, though I guess I wasn't all that clear. The M3 DS Real is the first proper slot-1 card under the M3 brand, the team have been working on it for a while and it's only recently been released (Chinese version only atm).

The M3 DS Simply was not developed by the M3 team, they just have it rebranded from R4.

The M3 team is also resposible for the G6 products, which tend to mirror the M3 products but use inbuilt memory rather than media cards.

since I have 4 simply's can you tell me the differences between the DS Real and the simply other than who branded it and what not. I'm talking about actual specs.

See Mr. Hanky's attempt to obtain that information here:

(under discussion)

--Original spring-loaded R4 with 2GB Class 2 Kingston
--M3 Real with 8GB Class 6 A-Data (kickgaming.com kicks butt)

There's also a translated review with pictures Here.
It looks like it works like a G6 but with MicroSD card compatibility, like they did with the old Slot-2 cards, I'm looking forward to when this gets released stateside.

I'm not sure as I've never used a G6, but it looks a lot like the Slot-2 carts did, I can imagine it working in a similar fashion.
