NeroVision Express 3 ~ Cutting out portion of movie ~ HOW?

I have NeroVision Express 3 and want to remove a section of a movie and put another movie IN the section I removed.

Let me explain myself better. I imported a DVD movie I created of a funeral [lovely subject]. There is a section of the movie I want to edit out. And in its place put another movie.

I have brought both movies into my project and have tried using the "cut" tool to cut the section I want out. Must be doing something wrong.

I know this isn't Premiere but can I "cut" a section out of the first movie and in the section I cut out, put another movie in its place. The movie would then continue from that point.

I hope I made my request clear. If I cut a portion of the movie out, can I put the other movie in its place: not transitions or text BUT another movie file [an MP3 in this case].
