Hello,

I have a psp which was originally 2.71, downgraded to 1.50 and then upgraded to 3.40 OE-A.

Now I would like to upgrade to 3.52 M33-4.

Can someone please tell me how to do it? Do I have to downgrade back to 1.50 then ungrade to 3.52 M33-4?

What are the exact steps?

What about the 1.5 recovery mode, would I have to reinstall it again?

Thanks in advance.

Hey dee,

Got the email and heres a answer. First download the 3.52 M33 Winstaller. Now initiate a USB connection on your PSP and run the 3.52 M33 Winstaller. It will copy all the necessary files to your memorystick. After you have finished running the 3.52 M33 Winstaller terminate the USB connection, go to "Memory Stick" under the game menu, and run the M33 update. The same rules all apply, at least 80% battery life, charger plugged in, etc. Once you have finished running it download the 3.52 M33-5 http://download.qj.net/Custom-Firmware-3...14129/catid/114 (yes i know its update 5 but I couldn't find four)update and copy it to the UPDATE folder located at X:/PSP/Game/ and if a UPDATE folder doesn't exist create one. Now again go to the memory stick and run the M33 Update, it will patch some stuff and you will then be at 3.52 M33-5.

Good morning,

Thanks kikzm33z and as always your replies are great PeaInAPod thanks bud.

1- Before I start should I reformat my memory stick?

2- I read that after installing the 3.52 M33 there is now a 3.71 M33, is it wise to install the 3.71 M33 now or should I wait a bit. If you think it's wise, what are the steps to do it?

Thanks in advance.

hey there...
I tried to upgrade to 3.52 M33 from 3.4 Oe-A
the problem is when i lunch the M33creator it take 30 minutes to creat M33update... so when i clixk the X button to restart my psp i found myself with a corrupted file...
I repeated that thing 3 times with no better results...
the problem can be because of my memory stick or what exactly??

It may take up to 30 minutes for it to be created. I suggest formatting your memorys stick and restarting.

Need some help. Can you please post the RAR password for the M33-4 updater? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the forums.
