can someone tell me how t burn dual layer dvd discs i have a pioneer 111d dvd wrighter it say it will burn but not sure how i do this please help

I would suggest Imgburn for DL burning and nothing but Verbatim DL discs.

FYI, most DVD's can be backed up to a single layer disc with little or no compression and for around a fourth of the cost of DL media.
