Okay so I dl'ed the rar, running evox here.

I read in another post:
"Emulator - PCSXBox.

As you'll notice is that "PCSXBox" emulator can be one of the hardest emulators to understand.

Things you need:
CDRWin
adaptec Aspi layer installed- If your using windows 2000 or XP
scph1001.bin
scph7502.bin to put in the "PCSXBox" bios folder. Put one of these bios in the "bios" folder right away to get it to read the majority of Playstation images.

NOTE:Some "PCSXBOX" emulators requires either of the bios file.
Scph1001.bin
scph7502.bin
So which ever one the emulator your using requires. Use it."

Questions:
1. Which scphxxxx.bin is better to use (scph1001.bin was included in my download it seems, maybe I should just use that)?
2. Where do I put all of the files, I would think to put this in E:\Emulators but I read somewhere to put it in E:\Apps or F:\Apps.
3. What are the best form for the games to be in (bin + cue, iso, img + sub + ccd)?

I also found a nice PSX on Xbox compatibility list here:
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/lofiversion/index.php/t238506.html

Thanks to everyone for enlightening me!

The emulator can be placed in E, F, and G partions. Place the emulator within the "Emulators" folder so that it appears under the sub-menu of Emulators.

In regards to the PSX bios files, use the settings described in the compatibility list. Depending from where you downloaded the emulator, it should contain all the PS1 bios files.

Playstation Images. It all depends on what program you use to create the image files, use CloneCD it's one of the best.

The emulator doesn't emulate all games 100%. Keep in mind that it still cannot replace the real console.

Yes but this is a great opportunity to play import games.

I placed the folder in E:\Emulators and it worked great.

My question is:
1. Both of the games I have contain .img, .ccd, .sfv, and .sub. Do I need to put all of these files on the xbox or only one?

2. Which file should I choose to run the game?

Thanks to everyone for enlightening me!

.img is the image file. It?s easily distinguished because it?s the largest in size in comparison to the other files that the program generates.

Not all game run 100%, if you had a boot disc for your playstation you could also play without a mod chip original imports or backups avoiding the hassle of running them from the emulator. All the Resident Evil titles run perfectly, those are the only games I play from the xbox and all the others I play from the PS console.

My PS2 is chipped and capable of playing these games, but I would like to save my PS2 laser some damage by running some games on the xbox.

Thanks to everyone for enlightening me!

You can add a hard drive to your PS2. Notice this, you can't run PS2 games on xbox just so you know.

I usually always deal with .iso and I have been told this works for PCSxbox.

I just want to know:

1. Do you put the .bin and .cue files together in the same directory for them to work with the same name?

2. If I want to make an .iso out of .bin and .cue files, what file do I convert to .iso, the .bin or .cue?

I made two isos from two different game bins and they both failed to work.

I put both the bin and cue files in there and they work fine.

Thanks to everyone for enlightening me!
