Hello,

I am planning on buying a Nokia 6300 and I would like to unlock it.
Now, I already saw many threads about not being able to unlock BB5 phones remotely.

Since then, I was looking for accessories on eBay and found these auction : http://preview.tinyurl.com/37dx3n

They advertise that they can unlock the 6300 tied to Fido remotely (using IMEI). They have a good feedback and one of them is physically located in Montreal, QC, Canada; where I live.

Is this a scam or is BB5 unlocking now possible ?

Thanks as always !

So you think this is a scam ?

I will ask the buyer for more details and see his answer.

Buyers say always-Im good,all is OK e.t.c.
I cannot exactly to say-all e-bay codes are f..k,but majority(i mean for BB5).
But choice is yours.

My plan is to make the seller know I know my stuff and make sure he knows I will request a full refund (he asks for video taping proof and I can provide it) if it does not work. I'm also willing to bring this up with an eBay and PayPal dispute if needed.

Worst case, I can probably physically go see the guy (we're in the same city) and worst case scenario there's always possibility for filling a police report for fraud.

And to answer your question, I know he's going to throw me the usual "Yeah, it's working fine" crap. I'm going to see with the other guys that bought from him if he really screwed them or not.

All this seems to me as spy adventure.

Here is his answer, off course, he won't say that it does not work.

Hi,
It is possible for NOkia from Rogers or Fido. We have done it many times via code.
I have asked 4-5 guys on eBay that bought from him and left a positive feedback. If my messages don't get blocked in the eBay system, I should have confirmations soon.

I'll keep you posted.

See all my poste here-ive not said that you got always f..k,ive only said -its possible and very often.
If you get code and will work-its OK.
Ive only said you my opinion.
And if you will you can later post your answer-its your deal.
Once more-i dont trust majority offers about unlck BB5 by e-bay or somewhere now.
