terrie29,
Make sure your head unit plays data cd (if burned in this format). This type of CD plays only in your computer and in some newer CD players. For better luck,I suggest you burn your files as an "Audio CD" on a CD-R; an audio CD plays in most CD players including car stereos. Consider using a different application such as CDBurnerXP Pro (freeware).

Most in-car players are pretty basic (well mine is) and i've had the same problem tried loading lots of mp3 to disc but would not play so using Nero, and as suggested burn as an Audio CD you wont fit so many songs on but at least it should play

There is no such thing as "U.S English"

thanks for the advice. when i burned my cd it actually said that it was an audio cd. but im using ultra speed cd-rw. i also tried to slow the speed down at which it writs it would play after a long time. and if ran through the tracks. but it would cut out and usually stop playing altogether. ive tried nero and windows media player, neither one was much help.

Try using a different media such as CD-R. How many tracks do you have on the cd? And what format are they currently on?

What format are your audio files currently on? Do they play in other players on your PC aside from WMP?

A majority of car CD players will not play MP3 format (although this is slowly changing).
If they are in MP3 format, you could convert then to WAV and then burn to CD (probably have some quality loss).
