Hi all
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
I am new to copying and burning.
I am trying to make a back up Dvd disc to use in a portable dvd player wich i normaly use in the car for the kids, the originals keep getting sctrached.
I just tried using Nero 8

*Try a different Brand of Disc(Verbatum Ty's)
**Reduce the burn speed to 4x or 8x
**Reduce the Target size to 4300 (You may not need to do this if you have Good Quakity Disc.) The Disc you Have Aren't considered Quality Disc.
**Check for a Firmware Update for your Drive
You Could also replace that 52x CD burner with a new SState of the art Dvd Burner For about 30 bucks. (If you Wanted)

Can you recommend a good quality disc, I am in the UK. Do they need to be DVD-R Or R+ or whatever.

yeah definitely go back to the 4300mb mark.I doubt i would agree with berryone advice about you may not need to if you get better quality discs as anything past the 4300 mb mark on a disc is really on the outskirts of the disc and is where the dye is the most unevenest and where errors start to creep into your burns.However according to your log file you are trying to burn to the very edge

The DMA for your burner is on, so your good.
