Please help. I did download the calculator but it didn't work. I did a lot research to come to conclusion that Nokia 6300 can not be unlocked except by the network provider. Am I correct?

Anyways here is my IME: 358647012104374

Hi
BB5 type phones such as 6280,6300, 6630, 6681, 6682 or
any N-Series phones,N-70, N-90 ect. or Tracfones
can not be unlocked by this method for use with
another Network. Not yet.

Only the original service provider can provide a code to unlock them.

Be careful.
I understand that you only have three chances. If you
hard lock the phone by entering wrong codes, not even
the original provider can unlock it by code.

Thank you alot.

Umm I have already entered code 3 times and it gave me error-code..I guess I have 5 chances to enter the code perhaps.

I think I'll just pay and get it unlocked by the network provider.

Funny enough theres a Chinese shop down town who says they can do it but of course with a fee.

Don't know how true is that!..Cheers mate.
