none of my music is playing on itunes.
i know the speakers work because i can hear audio on webpages.
when i click the song on itunes, at the top where it shows the length of the song its not moving.i dont know what the deal is.i have redownloaded itunes and restarted my computer and nothing has changed.

I don't know if this will help but whenever itunes offers you an update, do it. Also, make sure you have quicktime and all of its' components installed, this is what makes it play, also make sure that you dont have any viruses, if you have antivirus software then scan for any problems. Where are you getting the songs? Make sure they are mp3 format. Also make sure that your computer is capable of handling playing the songs, maybe you're running too much at a time? If I was any help let me know.
