PSX2PSP wont work

I have the base.pbp in the files folder but when i try to convert something "Cannot find STARTDAT Not a valid PSX eboot.pbp" comes up.
I also have popstation which has been working fine, but i wanted to play chrono cross w/c seems to require a different game id to work. i tried to change it on popstation several times but that didnt work so i downloaded psx2psp, and now im getting this message.
Does anyone know how to fix it!!

i dunt see why you are using an emulator, i cant help you with ur problem but the thing you should do is upgrade to 3.52 m33-4 and then from there you can play them very easily just like playing iso's. that was built in from sony themselves (a built in PSX emulator) so it will be better then that emulator.

i thought i had to convert the isos to eboots so they can play on the psp.

yeah u do, sorry about that and yeah u can use popstation GUI or auto popstationn 4 to do this, if u need a link u can ask here.

Im trying to convert the chrono cross iso to an eboot with a different game id using psx2psp version 1.2, but i always get a message that says "Cannot find STARTDAT Not a valid PSX eboot.pbp" do you have any idea how to fix this?

oh oaky, my mistake i thought u were refering to the emulator i misunderstood completely wut u were saying. anyways, use THIS to help you. note: you wunt need the ISO maker, only the converter since u already have the ISO.

will Autopopstation fix the problem with PSX2PSP or is it a completely different convertor. I know how to convert the psx games, its just that i read online that Chrono Cross requires a different game id so it wont freeze, and the instructions said to use the PSX2PSP program, however ive been having a problems with this program.
