hi iw as wondering if i can get a good graphics card so that i will have no jaggies, for about 250 or less. i was thinking almost this quality, and yes i know this is a ps3 pic.

If you can afford the extra $20, I strongly advise you to get this card, it'll be vastly better than the PS3, just be advised that it will require a decent PSU, CPU, Motherboard and RAM to keep up with it.

i got a 2.3 ghz dual core amd, 1 GIG ram, a 450 wat power supply, is that good enough, cuz i wanna play gears of war on my pc.

The CPU will be alright, but 1GB RAM is a bit thin these days, you should really have at least 2GB. Fortunately RAM is uber cheap these days. As for the power supply, 450W might be a bit tight, it depends who made it. If it's a cheap brand, then it certainly won't suffice, you'll need to upgrade to something decent like a 520W Corsair. if it's a quality brand unit you have then you might be alright, but no promises.

Right now you best bet is the 8800GT. You will need to spend that extra $30, you will regret it if you don't. ATI is brewing some new cards for the holiday season so if you wait you might be able to get a better product for roughly the same price. When buying nVidia stick with EVGA, XFX, or BFG.

hey i got this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128321R i know its not much but its all the money i got, and i bought this when it was kinda new so like when it was around 140
