I'm running Vista, with mpcstar player. can't get the video portion of a AVI file to playback? I have downloaded codec pkgs and no joy, I have audio. I get a White Screen, which leaves me to beleive that it is a codec problem......any suggestions would be appreciated.
if the divx player can't run the AVI then you know for sure that the file is corrupt,
by now you've reached a conclusion it was either a codec problem and was fixed by the codec pack, it doesn't work on any media player with help of codec, runs only on the divx player.. this means my computer is having a problem running codec's properly, setting change in security software/windows/media player, is needed
