What is the difference between an nvidia 6150se n Foce 430 256 mb integrated graphics, and a 256 mb nvidia 8600 gt pci express card?
Do they both use 128 mb of local system RAM?
Would upgrading to pci express card (256 mb) improve system performance espcially when creating dvd's?
I am on vista (32 bit)

There is big difference in gaming performance and 6150se is integrated to the motherboard whereas 8600GT is "external"

No, integrated card will usually use your local system ram, but external graphic card, like 8600GT, has its own ram memory.

Not really. When creating DVD's, your processor and DVD-drive(if you burn them on DVD-disc) will do the job.

man you sure are new to computer...i agree with k0jootti

"external" Graphics card is better than onboard ones
you need more RAM and powerful CPU to increase your performance of burning DVD's
