HI, Been burning DVDs for ages, never any problems till recently. Now when I burn a dvd it will only play on my sons portable dvd player. The other dvds state the disc cannot be read. Im using same programs as before and burner not very old. Reinstalled burning programs and burner, but this didnt help.Does anyone have any suggestions thanks

use better blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim

Slow down the burn speed to 6x or 8x max.

if you're using the DVD+R format booktype to DVD-ROM or use the DVD dash R format

make sure you have to most up to date firmware for you're drive burner, check here
