Hi,
I am trying to unlock my Nokia 3120, but I need help narrowing down the proper unlock code. The details are:
NOKIA
IMEI: 357052002711521
MODEL: 3120
TYPE: RH-19
COUNTRY: Austria
PROVIDER: One Connect
I would appreciate any help!

Hi again,
Since you were so incredibly helpful with unblocking my Nokia, I was wondering if you could help me out with another problem. It's a different topic and I am not really good at starting a new "thread". (The last request was my first and I am rather spazdic using Afterdawn and on the web, in general.)
Basically, I have a Yesss sim card (an Austrian company which offers re-chargeable credit cards for cell phones). I lost the PIN and PUK numbers and the company will not let me switch to a cheaper service packet without them. Can you advise me as to how to find out what my PIN or PUK number is?
I know that this is a bizarre request, especially for someone who has never heard of www.Yesss.at.
Sorry to disturb you with this.
Would appreciate any feedback you could give me!

Read this-
PIN Code: (personal identification number) This code is usually 4 to 8 digits and protects Your SIM card against unauthorized use (if You choose to set it). This number is provided by the service provider and can be changed. If an incorrect PIN code is entered three times in succession You will be asked for a PUK code. Default PIN code is usually 1234. Newer sims (smart cards) 1111.
PUK Code: (personal unblocking key) This code is an 8 digit code provided by Your service provider, and will allow You to reset Your PIN code. Too many wrong attempts and you will "fry" the sim.

Hi again,
Thanks for the info! However, what I didn't mention is that I am able to use the phone/sim card. I think that someone had deactivated the PIN on my phone. When I check "settings", there is an option "confirm SIM service actions" and it has been set to "no". I am assuming if I change that function, I might be shooting myself in the leg and preventing myself from reactivating the sim card, given that I don't remember what the PIN number is. I imagine that the provider still knows what it is.
Ultimately I need to reset the PIN code somehow in both the provider's system as well as on my phone, in order for me to be able to "prove" it is mine and request a service package change to a cheaper offer. Is this at all possible to do without the original PIN and PUK? Should I change the "SIM service action" and use the default PIN numbers? Would I then be able to change the PIN also in the provider's system, so that they and I are "in agreement" so to speak?
Sorry for the babble, when I re-read this message, it makes me feel like an idiot...

Only Yess can give you the PUC.
It should be on the card that camr with the SIM.
The PUC is only needed if you forget your PIN.
Your PIN is either the default 1234 or something you put in.
If you are using the phone and it does not require you to enter a pin to use it, then the Secutity feature is not in use.
If you turn it on, (Security) it will ask you for a PIN of your own.

Try to find a guide in your language ans read about the Security settings.
Security settings
Note: When security features that restrict calls are in use (call barring, closed user
group and fixed dialling), calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in
some networks (e.g. 112, 911 or other official emergency numbers).
Press Menu, and select Settings and Security settings. Select
? PIN code request to set the phone to ask for your PIN code every time the
phone is switched on. Some SIM cards do not allow the PIN code request to be
turned off.
? Call barring service (network service) to restrict incoming calls to and outgoing
calls from your phone. A barring password is required.
? Fixed dialling to restrict your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers if this
function is supported by your SIM card. The PIN2 code is required. When the
fixed dialling is on, GPRS connections are not possible except while sending
text messages over a GPRS connection. In this case, the recipient's phone
number and the message centre number must be included in the fixed dialling
list.
? Closed user group. Closed user group is a network service that specifies the
group of people whom you can call and who can call you. For more information
contact your network operator or service provider.
? Security level. The preset security code is 12345.
Select Phone and the phone will ask for the security code whenever a new SIM
card is inserted into the phone.
Select Memory and the phone will ask for the security code when the SIM
card?s memory is selected and you want to change the memory in use, (see
Selecting settings for contacts on page 68) or copy from one memory to
another (Copying contacts on page 72).
? Access codes to change the security code, PIN code, PIN2 code or barring
password. Codes can only include numbers from 0 to 9.

Hi,
Thank you for the detailed email. I just wanted to let you know that I was able to get my PUK code from the company by telling them 5 phone numbers that I had called using the sim card. It was the proof they needed to show that the SIM card is mine.
