winnipoo,
Below are the error codes
1.LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-160P6S>Version: PS08
Try updating the burner's firmware. Go here as you are a few versions behind:
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?category=4&manufactor=17
2. Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AM3
Not really good blank media. Try using Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden as they are way better
3.10:35:28 PM #26 SCSI -1046 File Cdrdrv.cpp, Line 1436
SCSI Exec, HA 3, TA 0, LUN 0, buffer 0x00D10000

HA-Status 0x00 (0x00, OK)
TA-Status 0x02 (0x01, SCSI_TASTATUS_CHKCOND)
Sense Key: 0x05 (KEY_ILLEGAL_REQUEST)
The above is an illegal disk error
4. 10:35:28 PM #31 Phase 38 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276
Burn process failed at 16x (22,160 KB/s)
Slow your burn speed down to 8X

Free physical memory: 108MB (111176kB)
That really is marginal memory. Youi should have at least 512 of ram

Go here & plug in
SHW-160P6S, you would want PSOC. It would not do anything to the computer, just your drive. BTW I forgot to mention, you should update your Nero & I don't mean to Nero 7.
System: Microsoft Windows Xp Pro 2002 SP3 / Windows XP Pro X64 Edition. Computer: AMD Athlon(tm) 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.51 GHz. 4.00 GB of RAM.
Samsung TSSTcorp SH-S182D (SB06), Samsung TSSTcorp SH-S203B (SB01-2 FB FR), LG HL-DT-ST GSA-H62N (CL01), Plextor PX810SA (1.01) & external Plextor PX-716A (1.11).

The Sony +R are what I've been using the past year or so without problems. The other brands you mention are known for selling the inferior CMC Mag manufactured media. I've used both the made in Japan and made in Taiwan Sony +R and both have worked flawlessly. You can order Taiyo Yuden or other top media online. The "Brown Truck" runs out in the country. ;)
Another possible problem is your having Roxio on a system with Nero. Roxio drivers and batch recording software such as Drag to Disc can interfere with the optical drive when Nero is trying to burn. Also, never install the InCD with your Nero. It's similar to the Drag to Disc I mentioned. Roxio has a cleaner program named Roxizap that cleans Roxio and drivers off the system, if that turns out to be the problem.

I am having a different problem. I rip the entire DVD to my HDD using AnyDVD v6.1.9.3, and then use ImgBurn in Build Mode to output to my burner (Lite-ON SHM-165H6S) I use Verbatim DVD+R DL media. When I play back the DVD using Media Player Classic, (I have QuickTime Alternative installed) I can't jump to the root menu or title menu, and the subtitles are on by default, and I cannot turn them off. Have not tried yet in my standalone DVD player, but I suspect the problem will presist. Any Ideas?
Oh... When I insert the original disc and AnyDVD scans it, I do get the message: "Warning: .bup file location is wrong, .bup processing disabled"
Could this be why the menu structure is messed up and the subtitles are on all the time?

I'm not soup and for firmware I suggest going to manufacturer support whenever possible. Had you checked out the lite-on site, you would have found a page for your drive. At the bottom of the page is instructions for using the firmware upgrade you download. Use this page and follow the directions: Select Optical Storage and your model from the drop down windows.
http://us.liteonit.com/us/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=153
Currently there's only one Nero 6 for download from the Nero website. That should be the last stable version. I've not heard of them updating any versions for obsolete software. There's some stable versions listed in the Nero forum that members suggest and links for downloads. You can find one of those versions at http://www.dvdvideoplus.com .

Soup1 is right, you don't want InCD (package 3) or any other batch writing programs, if you want to do DVD backups.
