My Dvd Burner Wont Reconize blank dvdr

I Have a hldtst dvdrom gdr8161b drive and when i put in a blank dvd it doesnt reconize it and wont let me burn a dvd movie and i have nero and it wont reconize it either

ok i downloaded it but nero only shows me a image recorder [dvd] but when im done burning the dvd doesnt show the movie
