for some reason, im having a hard time putting it on the R4. i am kinda new to the R4, but didnt have any problems with other games. please help.

Maybe you need to update your kernel.

You can download the newest kernel on the official R4 website:

the latest kernel for the r4ds is R4 v1.11 kernel (English)

instructions to put it on your memory card is found on the download page .
