all i do is games, which is great! but i wonder what else can i do?

i have actually just dl the DSAIM and i cant get it to work. I have the R4 and i have tried the wifi connection via Mario Kart and it says it connects successfully. When i try to log onto aim it says "Failed to connect to WiFi". what is the problem here?
