Recode NeroDigital Preview Window blank

Hi,

I recently started getting odd problems with the preview window in the "Recoding and Burning" window of Recode (v2.5.5.0 latest version in Nero 7).

I used to get reliable preview footage of the movie being encoded into Nero Digital. Now, for some reason it is inconsistent. Sometimes I get no preview at all (black preview screen), sometimes it starts displaying part-way through the encoding process, sometimes it starts and then then stops (freezes with a still picture in the preview window).

Anyone else seeing this? Any ideas what might be wrong? I recently upgraded my PC to a Quad-core (Q6600) chip, but the software base is identical (Vista 32bit; latest Nero 7).
