Okay, so I don't have the much knowledge about LCD's, and I'm looking to buy an LCD for the PC I'm building! Though I want an LCD that is able to do HD, because I have a PS3 and 360 that I would like to play in HD (and to also watch Blu-ray)! I don't want to go with an HDTV, because it will be too much for a hassle up at school! Anyways, it doesn't have to be Full HD (1080p), and I'm looking for one that's not as expensive! Also, my screen size that I'm looking for is around 22"! Thanks!

the way the rules are written for manufacturers to rate LCDs leaves alot for them to fudge the quality

best way, is to have them along side of each other and trust your eye ,, use numbers yes but trust your eyes most of all

contrast 700:1 may not be as good as the 600:1

most new monitors have good refresh rates but the old ones were slow and moving a window left ashadow trail 12,8,4 is good ...24ms is bad for gamers

try pricegrabber.com to check prices once you have one picked out just so you know how much is too much

size and brand is all a matter of how much $ you have

good luck

In order to run the PS3 and the 360 in full HD (1080p) you'd need a minimum screen size of 24" anyway. As for 22" screens, how about this one?

You will have to use a HDMI-DVI adapter for the PS3, but the monitor supports HDMI so it should work.

Well, when I'm looking for a monitor, what do I look for if it's HD or not!? I've seen monitors that are HDCP Ready, but I don't know what that is?

As for hooking up my systems to it, I was just going to get something like this:
