All the movies I back 'em up don't have DVD menu. It's not necessary to have them but I won't be stupid if I ask a question.
IS THERE ANYBODY WHO KNOWS HOW TO BACK UP MOVIES INCLUDING MENU???

Use DVD Decrypter and choose full movie. You'll get everything - the movie, menus and extras. Of course the quality will go down as a reslut.

I like to back up just the movie. When I put the movie into play it happens - no choices -no buttons to push - just the movie. If I want the options I play the original.

Not true RoyJones. Ripping it does not degrade quality. Only compressing or converting does that.

chthomson....When u copy the *movie only* you don't get a menu. It just auto-runs the movie. If u truly desire a menu, (which it makes no sense to me that u desire a menu if all u want is the movie anyway) after u rip it and compress it to get dvdr-ready files, all you have to do is use an authoring software to create a menu. TMPGEnc DVD Author is a good one, but there are several out there. Some free, some not.

I've been struggling to copy MENU from original Movie(DVD). I appreciate for people who tried to help in one way or another. Finally I came to the success though was a little different from what I'd been advised.
Anyway, whoever who needs to copy the whole movie i.e with MENU you can contact me.
