just simple burn... no multisession, 8x speed on DVD+R TDK discs
ordinary things, i didnt do anything special...

back up a DVD means copy DVD?
it wont work when i copy DVD or burn VideoDVD or data DVD... just not burning anything (not sure about CDs, but i think it did not even work) - this is doing when i burn DVD+R, when i burn DVD-R then when it finish then just show me an error like "Burn Procces Failed" (the clasic error message).
But Id like to solve this problem DVD+R first :(

not sure what do u exactly want to know, so i did this steps what im use to do:
1, Start Nero Burning Room
2, Then just select the files to burn
3, then just burn it
so i didnt want to crap dvd so i didnt continue with making screenshots. But when i press "BURN" it working normaly and when is 100% it will do the finalize and then it suppose to show window with "BURN PROCCES DONE" (or whatever it shows when burning is done) but wont, just simply shows "Could not perform end of Disc-at-once"
anyway it doing when i burn 8x speed or 2x speed (doestn matter on speed) and doing the same error when i burn data or video.
So disk details and everything else is in log above.

Sorry for the delay...Christmas and all that. I am unable to help any further as I NEVER use Burning Rom so my knowlege of it is limited, however I will see if I can get someone to look at it for you, Cheers.

Hi Shokarta
In one of your other logs you also get a power calibration error.
Causes for that can be media, firmware not up to date, lens dirty, poor power or drive going south.
So here's some suggestions:
Have you tried any other media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell?
Firmware may be update to but check the laptop manufacturers site an see if there are any updates.
Try cleaning the lens w/ like a tiny bit of alcohol and a q-tip. No liquid should drip.
Poor power is a bit harder to check in a laptop and I really don't think that's it. I would lean more to the drive itself going south if the above fails. One thing (at least in my experience) Mashita is not known for being a great drive.
