Hi all,
Not sure how to start but here goes got a new pc with above nero
installed when i go to make a dvd i add my avi file and this message comes up:
Full version of Nero7 required

Missing features: MPEG-4 Video Decoding

The feature you have selected is only available in the full version
of Nero 7. To enable this feature along with all other exciting Nero
7 features,you need to upgrade you current Nero Software to Nero 7.

Upgrade now online to Nero 7, the-all-in-one-digital media solution
for audio,video,photo, date and tv.

I emailed Nero took 6days for a reply they sugested i get nero clean tool to fully remove my existing version and download and install the latest (7.10.1.0)putting in my serial number did this still wont work??
when installing it had a serial number in which i deleted and put in mine? was i wrong??

Unfortunately you have what is called an OEM version of Nero and in general this is a "cheaper" version and does not have all the apps available in the FULL version, try running this clean tool

http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html

and then try for a re install of 7.10.1.0 using your existing s/n

This is the cleantool ive already used do you recomend retrying only done 1 hour ago with version 7.10.1.0 installed and my s/n.
should i try with the inknown serial number that was already in the serial number box when i ran install i downloaded 7.10.1.0 it was on a link in email from nero but they take a week to get in touch??

The number that appears automatically is for the trial version only, you will need to use your own s/n, however I am not certain you can upgrade to a full version at no extra cost.

Hi all had another email from Nero asking for a Jpeg screen shot of the error message and atext message from the Nero InfoTool just sent them over so will wait another week and yes they know my nero 7 is OEM
