I ripped Night Watch DVD with "DVDFab HD Decrypter 4," but when I tried to shrink it using "DVD Shrink," it couldn't open the files. I tried using "Fix VTS," as well as "VOB Blanker," neither of which worked.

What version of DVDFab HD Decrypter 4 are you using? Latest version was released this week...

If you have Nero Recode you might give it a try as Fab's output has been choking in DVD Shrink as of late.

Backed up Night Watch ovefr a year ago, no prob. When u open up the file, did you open the Video TS subfolder with shrink? If not, then this is your problem.
