whats a wifi usb connector? should i get one even though i have a hotspot in my home where i can access my neighbors connection? does it work from rooms away? can give youre ds the home connection and stop opening the wifi software over and over as you use wifi? thanks for your replys, just wanna get info for a 40 dollar purchase.

But you have you own paid for internet right? You're not stealing your neighbors just because they're dumb enuf to leave the security off on the router.

yeah i have my own internet connection but like whenever i go wifi i connect on someone else connection or something, i never find mine or something i dont know how it works, or do i need that ds usb connector to connect to my own connection?

Yes you need to connect to your router. Can't help that much connecting the DS to the internet but here are some tuts from Nintendo on setting up the DS internet connection - link
