Hi,

I'm a newbie to this whole R4 thing

Basically i've got the R4 set including the small ds game, small cd for computer and usb for computer

I also have a 1gb microsd card

Basically I have no idea what to do next, i've tried reading all the files on the zip but can't make much sense of it (This is from Hong Kong-Some is english but still can't make much sense!) One thing I also don't understand is how I put the games on and where I get them from?

I'll be grateful for any help whatsoever

Thanks,

Sam

Read Mr_hanky's M3 DS Simply guide, the Simply and R4 are almost completely identical, the only difference being the sticker.

For firmware updates, go to the official R4 site.

Sounds like you have a Chinese R4, Here's a patched English firmware.

Hi Piggypack

I think you have the Chinese R4 version like mine (bought fr HK). I managed to update it to the latest v1.14 English ver following the inst from this link. http://ehsia.com/nintendo-ds/howto/r4-chinese-english

You can give it a try to see if it works for you.
