I am looking for someone who is in either the Glos or Bristol area Male or Female I am not fussed.
I am looking to do street entertainment on weekends Saturday's mostly as well as any exhibitions which might come up in the future.
One thing I will tell you now is that you must have commitment any doubts about what you could be doing I am not interested in! I want a front man or front woman someone who is good with crowds of people and who are not afraid to get up there and perform in front of people.
I am just testing the water as this could lead on to other things, I am in a duo at the moment but my colleague does not wish to do street entertainment or anything else except the gigs we get now and again however I want to be out in the public domain more than I am now.
I want you also to take a share in securing any gigs or entertainment for street gigs exhibitions and this might lead on to gigs later on?
You must have a good vocal range I am not looking for singers of Celine Dion or those types if you are female. If you are Female I can add a few tracks for female vocal range. This is going to be performing material anything from Gary Moore, Santana, Guns 'N Roses (Sweet Child Of Mine), AC/DC a lot of rock stuff as well as Beatles Oasis and many Oasis numbers I have!.
As said you must be committed all equipment provided all you do is provide the voice and the rap ore with the audience. I usually add backing vocals and all the guitar leads and rhythm but I usually prefer to sit back and play and just let the front man call the shots where audience is concerned. I am not looking for professional singers but I am looking for ambitious singers who can sing. I will tell you now that I know exactly what I want and I don?t care if the singer is Female or Male Black or White does not matter but your performance does.
You must also understand that image is a very important part of this business and too many people get into it thinking that they will be overnight stars well that could be true but have no illusions this is going to involve some unpaid work or even charity work but the exposure could be important. You must have everything I am looking for as one doubt about you I move on to the next person I am looking for 100% commitment.
You must be able to travel have access to your own transport Public transport is no good or the borrowing of a friends car is also no good. You must have a good personality, Friendly, able to make important decisions at time and be able to handle yourself in crowded environments and be able to sell to the public what we have. This will be a semi professional basis and must fit in with work and family schedules but the band comes first. I am not looking for guitarists or any other musicians except a singer that is all I require. You must live within reaching distance of Bristol. If interested why not email me.
Age range is open but would prefer persons aged between 30 and 45 years.
