im encoding now, but before i let u's know if the burning stage works, i saw somthing odd.
my burner is an 8X and the dvd-rs i have are up to 16X which means they can do 8X also .
however in the program shrink where u click backup, and u click the last tab, it only shows MAXIMUM, or 1X when i used to see 4X and 8X?
so does this mean by upgrading the nero firmware im only allow to burn at 1X speed now? or does maximum mean 8X, cause i have chosen maximum right now

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it didnt work this is what came up
Note i only updated the nero firware not the pioneer burner firmware, should i update the bruner aswell and try again or is this error andother problem altoghether?

Your Pioneer (burner) firmware needs updating so that it can recognize the discs,

Note i only updated the nero firware not the pioneer burner firmware, should i update the bruner aswell and try again or is this error andother problem altoghether?
you see when i was getting this error a week or two back, i was trying the backup step again but the second time around instead of the error coming and the disk poping out before buring stage, it dosnt pop out, just burns like normal and at around 17% it fails and then obviously i loose a disk, thats why i dont wanna try it again now.?

Oh shit i know what u mean about editing out LOLOL, owell im stupid and aslo very confused since i couldnt think what i was doing, dont matter it was a fake anyway.
so apart from editing out me serial, do i just put on the new ioneer firmware, ive done the latest nero firmware

It WORKED!! FINALLY, THANK U ALL FOR YOUR HELP, BUT I STILL HAVE THE ISSUE where i can only burn at 1X instead of the usual 4X or 8X!,
is there a way to make this work again, cause on shrink all i can see is maximum and 1X options to select, and i rcently found out maximum settings is also 1X so im only allowed 1X burning speed!???
