How do I open compression files from Nero with another program?

Hi, I did backup my files on Nero but they ended up compressed some how it was my first time doing it so to say the lease I did not know what I was doing. I have not been able to open them up for over a year and my hard drive crashed about a year ago and I have pictures on one of the compressed files and have no other pictures like those so I am trying to open this compressed file. I no longer have Nero so my question is does anyone know how to open these compressed files on another program with windows XP or do I have to some how get Nero again?

I assume you were using 'Backitup' and you still have the backed-up files.

If you had Nero before (on a CD) then it could be reinstalled.
If you don't have the original, perhaps you can download the current Nero and install it.

This is from the Nero FAQ in regard to 'Backitup'.

Hi and thanks for your response but I have a problem with being able to do that.The compressed file will only use NCO to open it and so nothing is working. Has anyone ever had this problem with the file with NCO?
