Is it a full brick or semi one?
either ways you can use pandora on it..

But when it's semi ..
what firmware are you?
at least you can use the recovery files to make life easier...

But it's really up to you if you want to use pandora then fine with me...
:)

What custom firmware do you have and is the PSP a FAT or SLIM?

If you have a SLIM you will need to use a Pandora Battery.

If you have a FAT you might not need to use a Pandora Battery if you only semi-bricked the PSP.

Turn off the PSP then hold the R-Trigger button down while booting the PSP. See if the recovery menu will come up.

If it does then you won't need a Pandora Battery. We will need to know what firmware you had installed before the semi-brick to point you to the proper recovery folder.
