i have boughten two pc games for my pc and both games do not show correctly on the monitor. You can only see half the game on the screen. but it only happens with pc games, everything else works fine, i currently have a pentium 4 3.0 overclocked to 3.38 and a 256m video card by NVIDIA. how can i fix this.

No, he's referring to the graphics settings in the game itself. However, I can't envisage how that would help.
When you say the image only fills the screen, in what way?
Only the top half? A band down the middle with black bars either side? A Band along the middle with black bars top and bottom? Alternating lines?
Help us out...

yes but it is for another type of monitor becouse i hooked it up and nothing appeared on the screen.

Not necessarily true. If the cable fits, you should get a picture, as long as your monitor is set to the right mode.

i hooked up a different monitor and it did the same thing i currently have a flat screen and the other one that i hooked up is a regular 19" screen and it did the same thing, could it be the video card?

I certainly think so, I think you should have the graphics card replaced.
