For DVD-RW Nero provides choices to do a full erase, quick erase, or a quick DVD format. What determines which one should be chosen? What is the advantage of a full erase over a quick erase?

I think security is the most important thing. A full erase deletes the data, a quick erase just makes the space usable again. I used quick erase to reburn a dvd about 15 times and never had a problem. Quick erase takes about 2 min. a full erase was going on 20 when I stopped it.
