I decrypted X-Men 2 with DVDDecryptor, then went to load it in IFOEdit, then hit play to run the movie so that i could see what file was the main film so that i could split the disc or at the very least get the main movie in DTS6.1. When ihit play, it says that 2 of the 3 streams had problems and that it would not play. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks. Also, if anyone else has any ideas of how to get the best video quality out of X-Men 2 without losing DTS sounds PLMK.

have you decrypted the entire dvd or main movie files?

not sure of what your current situation is, but best bet is for you to (if you just ripped the main movie files) is to delete the existing ifo/bup files and get ifoedit to rebuild the ifo files. you may also want to do correct navigation pointers if you stip streamed the files using decrypter.

this cleans the ifo for non-existant streams (audio/subs). don't forget "get vts sectors" if your planning on burning to dvdr for settops.

cheers,

dvine

How do you get IFOEdit to rebuild the bup etc. files? I´m asking this because I tried authoring a DVD and it played just fine on the computer, but not in the DVD player, so I used DVD2One to reprocess and just copied over the inicial Bup etc. files and kept the processed VOB files. It worked ok but the film cut off during the credits :>) Any advise?

Well if you used sometthing like SmartRipper, and only copied over the vobs, you can creat the ifo and the bup files with IFOEdit.

Start up IFOEdit and hit the create IFO button at the bottom. Then you'll have to locate your VOB files.
Select the first one. IFOEdit will then scan all your vobs, and create the ifo and bup files.

After the scan just hit the quit button at the botton.

Now you'll see the all the neccessary files you'll need to burn the DVD.

I use Nero to burn the DVDs. and it works great..
