PC Shutting Down Half Way Thru Burn

This is not based on any particular movie, but I use RipIt4Me with DVD Decrypter and Shrink. When the file is about half way thru the burn process my PC shuts down. I am not sure why. My PC does not shut down on its own any other time, only during the burning. I am kind of at a loss on what to do except trying to use a different burning software. I am trying Image Burn as I type this, but am not sure if it will work. Has anyone else come across this before? Thanks.

If it was a heat problem, I would expect it to shut down during the Shrinking part, but check the cpu temp during the process to see if it's getting too high - it eliminates one possibility.
