nero6 recording dvd double layer

I recorded a data dvd double layer with nero6. message stated burn success. But now I cant read my data. my burner LG writes and reads double layer dvdr+ discs.
Anybody help please

was it finalised?
did you booktype the +DL to dvd-rom?
read alot lately on disc ok till burned then cant be read...

yes it was finalized.I dcont know what you mean by booktype the dl+ to dvd rom, Could you explain

booktyping makes your +R to a dvd-rom format and doesnt leave it as +R when burnt.
dvd-rom is much like an original dvd (so more compatible in most players)
apps like imgburn booktype while burning

In fact this is correct, booktype should make no difference.

I cant read with [b]windows explorer. [/b]it wont open up, yet when i do a disk check with nero it shows about 6.7 gigs. I made a data dvd. Please help Thanks

once again its me, i could read my dvd+r dl on my msons dcvd rom just fine, but i cant read it with my dvd writer windows explorer just tells me either bad disc or format he cant read. do i haver to burn al my dl discs with dvd rom format as suggested or is there a way around and just burn ordinarily. any help would be greatly appreciated mthanks
