I got this error (invalid block address) when I started burning my files today. The media I used to burn is TDK which works fine before but now it started showing this error...

I'm using
Windows XP SP2
Nero 6 -6.6.1.4-
LG GSA-4167B

couple things here...

dma needs to be on!

Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
Last address to be written: 2234111 (496:28.11, 4363MB)

you are burning very close to outer edge of dvdr, back project size to about 4300meg (yours maybe ok after dma back on?)

useing the same media doesnt mean diddly squat as even discs from same batch can be bad...

Ok I got DMA on and reduce the files to be burned to 4050 MB and still got the same error.

Perhaps my burner became picky in media because of its old age? I got a similar error "Invalid Address for Write" in DVD Decrypter..

This version of Nero contains some bugs, uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html and then install this more stable version
6.6.1.15

check to see if there is a firwware update for yout drive!

you will see these in the wizard as you go from DVD-VIDEO to create mine are all UN-TICKED are yours ticked?

also still loooking into this...

also good advice above

create project UDF video

no multissesion!

Tried uninstall->clean tool-> reinstall to Nero 6.6.1.5 and stuff the error still occurs but when I used another media it works.. perhaps the hardware is showing its age?
