I have Adobe Premiere at work and had a brief look the other day, can't see any reference to burning DVD's as far as I can tell it is just a very expensive (ok I expect it is very good) editor. When I have a moment I will hook up my camcorder to the PC at work and see what I can do.

Pyroteck Now we are getting somewhere. First off what message does the set top players display when the dvd does not work. Verbatim disc are a good quality name and I have tried one to back up one of my dvd's and it worked ok. I use Princo, Optodisc and prime disc with no problems. Have you tried burning at 1x speed as maybe your cpu and hard drive are not fast enough to capture at a proper rate. Are you putting labels on the discs as this throws off the balance of the disc sometimes causing it not to play at all.
