Pc died, Which component has gone down?

Hi all, pc has die the other night and i'm stuck,wondered if someone could help?
power the machine and it runs but the monitor stays asleep, also there is no initial system beep. I have done a complete bios discharge and still the same.
i've disconnected all other devices and just had bare essentials connected and still the same.
I have changed all components 1 at a time, different cpu, differernt graphics card, different power supply, different monitor, and still the same, the system powers and runs but nothing on monitor, the system isn't booting in the background it's just running.
if i remove all ram and power then the system powers and i get no system beep.
If i remove the power to the gfx card and try to power then it powers and the system Does beep.
I would be highly suprise if the ram is dead so i can only think that the bios chip is dead?
ANY help would be great and many thanks for reading.
my system specs are:
abit ip35-e mobo
intel core duo e6420 @2.13ghz
4x1 gb ocz ddr2 pc2 8500 @1066mhz
corsair 620w psu
2x 36.7gb wd raptor sata hdd
2x 500gb maxtor 7200rpm sataII hdd
bfg Nvidia 8800gts oc2 pci-e gfx card
o/s Windows vista ultimate x64 edition.

Do you have a spare graphics card you can try? If disconnecting the power to the graphics card causes a change in what happens, then that obviously has something to do with it. Given that, I'd place it at either being the motherboard or the graphics card.

Yes i have tried another gfx card that doesnt require power from the psu.

Unplug all your hard drives from the motherboard, and try using only one of your RAM sticks at a time, and vary which slots you run them in (Do these as separate tests)
With the RAM, Try them all individually in slot 1, then try them all individually in slot 2.
If any of these solve the problem, you can work out whether it's a S-ATA cable, S-ATA port, hard drive, memory slot or memory stick causing issues.

with just cpu,ram in all or any slots like ure suggestion and gfx card connected to the mobo, still the same.

Leave the graphics card attached, but remove all the hard disks, both from power and unplug the S-ATA data cables at both ends. Do you still get the same issue?

How about with the RAM? Using only one stick do you still get the same issue? If so, try a different stick, and in a different slot.
If no luck, we can count out the RAM.
Have you checked to see if the CPU cooler is securely attached on all four corners?

using 4 sticks individually in all 4 slots and the same, ihave remove the cooler to try another cpu so yes it is mounted securley.

Ok after testing the ram again i have 1 stick of ram giving me long beeps as it powers up in any slot, the other 3 sticks do nothing in any slot as it powers.

Did you remove the cooler recently? Stock coolers, once removed, must have thermal paste re-applied or they will no longer function correctly.

Cooler pro 7 i believe the cooler is, and yes i did remove it to put another cpu in and then arctic silver was re-applied upon installing the heatsink again.
